Our club's four planes enjoy very good availability. Scheduling is encouraged a week or so ahead of time for the weekends, and members can often fly with little advance scheduling during the work week. We manage our membership numbers so that availability of the planes is optimized for everyone. Our low rate of club turnover generally means there are one or two spaces open for new membership at any particular time. Members and their families get together twice a year as a group. The summer barbecue and winter Christmas parties are always well attended. The NRI Flying Club is governed by a Board of Directors, selected from the membership, that meets monthly. All members are encouraged (but not required) to participate in the monthly meetings. We have several Certified Flight Instructors within the club who are available whether you are working on your private pilot's certificate, your instrument rating, or even your own CFI rating.
